Rutgers University Dance Marathon Alumni

Rutgers Dance Marathon Alumni is an organization dedicated to increasing Rutgers University Dance Marathon (RUDM) Alumni involvement.

Rutgers University Dance Marathon Alumni (RUDMA) was founded in 2012. As an alumni organization, its goals are to support the undergraduate team, aid in increasing the fundraising total, and provide opportunities for alumni to continue to participate in the Rutgers University Dance Marathon mission. Anyone who is interested in the mission of RUDM may be a part of RUDMA, regardless of prior involvement. We encourage previous dancers and volunteers to participate!

Throughout the year, members of RUDMA can show their support and stay involved by attending open meetings and fundraising events, engaging in RUDMA social media, and/or joining RUDMA committees. If you are interested in serving on a committee, regardless of the level of involvement you are able to contribute, you can contact for the Events and Outreach Committee, or for the Solicitation Committee.

The executive body of RUDMA is the Leadership Team and is comprised of the Executive Director, Director of Communication, Director of Outreach, and Director of Finance.

Rutgers University Dance Marathon

Rutgers University Dance Marathon (RUDM) is the largest student-run philanthropic event in New Jersey, which rasied over $692,000 in 2015. The event serves as both a fundraising and spiritual event for Embrace Kids Foundation in support of children with cancer, sickle cell and other serious diseases being treated at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey and Robert Wood Johnson Children’s Hospital.

Rutgers University Dance Marathon is a year-long endeavor that culminates in one weekend with over a thousand participants and guests. This event is the homecoming for RUDM Alumni to celebrate each other, the cause and how the organization continues to grow.

RUDMA is always looking for help, suggestions and new ways to involve its members. Any ideas, questions or concerns can be sent to
